The NCC Wing of Postgraduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh, organised a Poster-Making Competition to mark the momentous occasion of “Har Ghar Tiranga” and celebrate 78 years of Independence on 8th August.

About 14 NCC Cadets participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and showcased their creative skills.  The students made bright, colourful posters using the colours of the national flag, which not only expressed their respect for the national flag but also their feelings of patriotism for our nation. This activity aimed to create awareness about the importance of the National Flag and to encourage the commitment of these young girls towards nation-building. This activity invoked the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the students.
