Hon’ble  Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan flagged off a Boat rally on 14-08-2024 on account of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. The Lt. Governor flagged boat rally near Gandhi Statue, Goubert Avenue on the beach. Hon’ble Speaker R. Selvam, Legislative Assembly, Government of Puducherry, Thiru Dr. Sharat Chauhan, Chief Secretary to Government, and Thiru. A. Nedunchezhiyan, Culture Secretary, Government of Puducherry were among those who participated. A large of public were also witnessed the event at the Beach. The aim of celebrating the Mahotsav is to create a vision for India in 2047. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, also known as the celebration of  India’s independence, is a momentous occasion that marks the resilience and spirit of the Indian people in their journey towards freedom.
