Rangmanch presented the Jallianwala Bagh play on September 10 September, beautifully directed and enacted by Supriya Guha and its entire team of artists, technicians, writers, and volunteers, depicting the severity of one of the most brutal and gruesome massacres in the history of India and paying tribute to the martyrs. Every actor played their character to perfection. The performing artists from the Academy of Indian Classical & Bollywood dance ably supported the drama with their dances to patriotic songs.

While narrating the brutality unleashed on innocent people by the colonial masters, the Consul General highlighted the remarkable progress being made by independent Bharat thanks to the hard work, determination, and competencies of its citizens. The Indian Diaspora in WA has huge talent not only in terms of their professional and academic competencies but also in performing arts, including in rendering outstanding plays.
