In connection with the celebration of 75 th year of Independence of India and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Vasudha Vandhan program was being held at Syedpora Panchayat under Meri Mati, Mera Desh. The event was hosted by Block Harwan where the chief guest was: Prabhari Officer of the concerned Panchayat Halqa. The officials of the Block along with the Gram Panchayat Body and the other residents where among all present at the venue. In the sidelines of the event ,the SO ( Plg) of the Block delivered the introductory speech regarding the theme of the event. After the welcome address, the chief guest delivered his important lines on the topic. In his address, the worthy guest mentioned the essence of Plantation and its positive implication in the overall health of the nation. During the event, the plant saplings of indigenous species were planted to mark the Vasudha Vandhan. Also , saplings were duly planted in different locations of the Panchayat Halqa . The chief guest impressed upon all to contribute to glory of 75 th year of Independence by plantings trees and vegetation. The event concluded with vote of thanks by the Secretary panchayat. About more than 17 people participated in the event.
