Eat Right Millets Mela organized at Patna Bihar

On April 29th,23, the Eat Right Millets Mela & Walkathon was organized by FSSAI Eastern Region & State Food Safety Department Bihar at the Urja Convention Centre in Patna.
The event was inaugurated by Shri Samir Mahaseth, Honble Minister of Industries, Govt. of Bihar. The event commenced with a Walkathon at 6:00 am, which witnessed the participation of 800 school students. Additionally, to engage the audience, there were other activities like a Jumba dance, a quiz competition, and a live food counter offering dishes made with millet.
Several shopkeepers, farmers, and members of farmers producer’s organizations set up 20 millet stalls for display. To spread awareness about the health benefits of millet, a Nukkad Natak was also organized. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 3000 people and was attended by students, teachers, officials & locals.
